What are the inside dimensions of the 20DV / 40DV // 40HC containers?

W / M – weight / measure – 1 cbm / 1 ton – to calculate freight, the greater value/number of tons or cubic meters is selected and multiplied by the stated rate; if the calculated freight is less than the minimum rate, the minimum rate should be taken.
What is shipment consolidation?
Consolidation involves combining several smaller shipments (from different suppliers to different customers, among others) heading in the same direction for transport in a single container. Such shipments are also called part-container or less-than-container load (LCL – Less than Container Load). For this purpose, the freight forwarder draws up a separate bill of lading for each consolidated shipment and, in addition, one collective bill of lading with a load list. On the collection note, the consignor is the shipper consolidating the shipments and the consignee is the shipper deconsolidating the shipments. The freight forwarder only has a view of the collective letter.
What does demurrage and detention free time mean?
The demurrage and detention free period is the time specified by the shipowner to take a full and return an empty container to port or depot. After the expiration of the free period, additional fees are charged. Demurrage charges cover the period after the expiration of the free time to take the container from the port. Detention charges cover the period from the time of taking until the empty container is returned to the port or to the designated depot. The length of the demurrage and detention free period may vary. It results from a provision in shipowners’ tariffs or from individual contract terms with shipowners.
